💜 "We are Bulletproof: The Eternal" is a sequel to BTS' 2013 songs "We Are Bulletproof" and "We Are Bulletproof, Part 2." The "Bulletproof" series is a play on BTS' Korean name, Bangtan Sonyeondan, which translates to Bulletproof Boy Scouts. According to J-Hope, the name signifies the group's desire "to block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations that aim at adolescents like bullets." The song centers on being able to face any obstacle, thanks to the support of their bandmates and their fandom, ARMY. BTS adds that the group has become larger than their seven members because of the love and support of their listeners.
