Coronavirus: KPBS News Special Report – May 29, 2020

This week brought a somber milestone as San Diego and the nation struggle with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The number of reported deaths in the U.S. passed 100,000. Locally, the number of deaths in San Diego County reached 260, with more than 7,000 reported cases. When it comes to the gradual easing of restrictions, barbershops and nail salons were given the OK to reopen. And, the state has issued guidelines for houses of worship to resume in-person services.
