In modern days, Nightingale would be called "a success coach" or a "motivational speaker". Depending on one's perspective on growth and positivity, some people would call him a fake guru. Nightingale came from poverty and spent his childhood living in a Great Depression tent city. After the war, Nightingale began work in the radio industry, which eventually resulted in work as a motivational speaker.
