Far Cry 5 is an open-world first-person shooter developed by Ubisoft and released on March 27, 2018. It’s the fifth main installment in the Far Cry series and is set in the fictional Hope County, Montana, USA.The game follows a rookie sheriff’s deputy sent to arrest Joseph Seed, the charismatic and fanatical leader of a doomsday cult called Project at Eden’s Gate. Things go wrong, and the deputy becomes stranded in the county, which is now under the cult’s control. Players must rally local resistance fighters to liberate the region and take down Joseph Seed and his siblings—known as the Heralds.
