Building a Propresenter Playlist including Sermon slides JPG

In this video, I walk through building a simple weekly set list with Planning Center integration, a video, and jpg sermon slides. Here is the step by step I use for bringing in sermon slides on two layers so that the slide can be displayed only briefly on our live stream while remaining on our main screen in house. 1. Insert his flash drive in the hub on the shelf behind the monitor. 2. Open PP7 (propresenter); create a new presentation (command-N); name it and make sure it’s in Sermons library and in the current playlist (though it can be added later). 3. Open Finder; Locate the drive on the left and the file; double click the file so that only the jpgs are shown; hit command-A to select all the slides. 4. Drag and drop the slides into pp7 (delete the blank slide created when the presentation was created). 5. In Propresenter, use Command-A to select all the slides; right click and select ‘convert media to slide element.’ 6. Go back to finder where your slides should still be selected. Right click and select rename. Use the option to ‘add text before’. Give a unique identifier (nothing fancy; I use “SER then the four digit date like 1106), adding a space. This step is not necessary, but it will save time on the next step. 7. Arrange the finder window so you can see all the slides in the pp7 window while the finder window is still on top. Click on the first jpg in finder just so all the jpgs aren’t selected. 8. Now drag and drop the jpgs onto the corresponding slide in pp7. "SER 1007 Slide 1" onto Slide 1, and so on. 9. Finally, drag and drop the Macro “Sermon Cues” onto the first slide of the sermon notes, and drag and drop the "Post-Service" macro next to the last slide (it will create it's own slide). Our "sermon" Look is set to send the slide layer to the live stream and the media layer to the house. That is a critical setting for this method.
