People arrived to place flowers and candles， while others posted messages of condolences. ″I came here to mourn the victims， and I hope they will rest in peace in heaven.″ In the meantime， Thai police are transferring the victims′ bodies back to their home countries. The attack on Monday killed 20 people and wounded more than 120. On Tuesday evening， in a separate incident， an explosive device was thrown from a Bangkok pier with no injuries.
