Documentary film: INSIDE KOBANE
Journalist, photographer and documentary filmmaker Yazeed Kamaldien shows his short film about Kobane, a city in Syria that has been destroyed in clashes as Islamic State fighters battled against Kurdish military and American-led airstrikes. Kamaldien travelled to refugee camps in Turkey, where Kurdish refugees displaced by Islamic State fighters are seeking safety. He then traveled to Kobane, Syria, to witness the devastation that remains. This film also looks at the humanitarian situation.
