Crispy Desi Ghee Aata Coconut Cookies | No Egg | Perfect Tea Time Snack

Hello everyone, Welcome back to my channel. Today, I’m going to share a traditional yet delicious recipe for Desi Ghee Atta Coconut Cookies. These cookies are made with simple ingredients, have a rich aroma of desi ghee, and are perfect to enjoy with tea or coffee. Let’s begin. In a mixing bowl, take one bowl of desi ghee and add five tablespoons of powdered sugar. Mix well until the mixture becomes smooth, creamy, and light in texture. Now add one teaspoon of baking powder and mix again. Next, add one teaspoon of ajwain powder and five teaspoons of desiccated coconut. Combine everything thoroughly. Take a large bowl of wheat flour (atta) and add this prepared ghee mixture to it. Mix well until the flour is evenly coated. Now add one teaspoon of fennel and cardamom powder and mix once more. Gradually add room-temperature milk, little by little, and knead it into a soft and smooth dough. Make sure the milk is taken out of the refrigerator 4 to 5 hours earlier. Once the dough is ready, apply a little desi ghee on your hands and gently spread it over the dough. Cover and allow it to rest for 15 to 20 minutes. After resting, divide the dough into medium-sized portions. Roll each portion like a roti and cut into shapes using a cookie cutter, glass, or bowl. You can decorate the cookies with crushed dry fruits or desiccated coconut on top, and gently press for a neat finish. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Place the cookies on a baking tray and bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until they turn light golden and crisp. And your Desi Ghee Atta Coconut Cookies are ready. Perfectly baked, aromatic, and completely homemade. If you enjoyed this recipe, please like, share, and subscribe to my channel for more delicious recipes.
