Best Pedigree Ever (Marty Garner Botch) WWE Superstars 1996 Hunter Hearst Helmsley (better known to the WWE Universe as Triple H), who was then a young up and comer in the WWE, took on jobber Marty Garner during a WWE Superstars taping from 1996. "The Pedigree" is widely used by wrestling promotions (dubbed by Sir Michael Cole and myself as the Minor Leagues) however as it is a renamed hold it is actually called the "Double Underhook Kneeling Facebuster (or variations to that effect). The closing moments of this performance had Helmsley locking Garner in the Double Underhook position for Hunter's finishing move called ''The Pedigree''. Now there are countless other moves that you can execute from this position to your opponent other than ''The Pedigree''. To name a few: 1. A Tiger Powerbomb (Similar to that of Ahmed Johnson's ''Pearl River Plunge''. 2. Double Underhook DDT (occasionally called Butterfly DDT) 3. Belly to Back inverted front slam (Michelle McCool's "Faith Healer" in WWE and AJ Styles' "Styles Clash" In iMPACT Wrestling. 4. Sit-out Chicken Wing Facebuster (Beth Phoenix's "Glam Slam" In WWE) 5. Package Piledriver 6. Double Underhook Backbreaker (Used by CM Punk and Chris Jericho amongst others) 7. Seated Double Underhook Facebuster (Similar to the Double Underhook Kneeling Facebuster but the executer lands in a position similar to how you would see a Piledriver been done). 8. A Double Underhook Suplex. Marty mistook ''The Pedigree'' for the latter and when Garner was hoisted in the air, the jobber then positioned himself to go over the top of Triple H to continue what he thought was a Double Underhook Suplex. The end result of both entertainers thinking 2 opposite eventualities is what you see from the footage above. As I said there are other moves to utilise from the Double Underhook position, I have only named a handful. Feel free to comment below on more Double Underhook moves and I'll add them to the list (crediting you of course). Needless to say. Marty Garner suffered neck damage. This is the end result of being trained by Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy, Marty Garner should of went else-where, because The Hardy Boyz are sure ''winning'' just now. If you want to know what Marty Garner did later in his career, he appeared on a WWE Pay Per View in 2006 called No Mercy, entertaining with Montel Vontavious Porter. MVP made his WWE Pay Per View début against Marty Garner. Yes it is ridiculous as it sounds.
