The World Bank has announced a billion dollar support package for India. Speaking to ET NOW, Country Head, Junaid Ahmad says chances of V-shaped recovery remain slim but hopes that monetary & fiscal interventions helps India avoid negative growth. He also adds that the World Bank $1bn aid for social protection prog will be milestone based. States to play a major role in enhancing social protection programme.
