Inside a small red Zeiss Ikon box, I pulled out a roll of Kodak Plus-X Pan, developed by my grandfather himself but never cut, printed, or seen since 1954. In this episode, I scan the roll and uncover a road trip he took in his Pobeda M20, the very first car he owned after starting his teaching career. Thanks to a trade deal between Norway and the Soviet Union, the Pobeda became one of the most common cars here in the ’50s. Rugged, practical, and reliable… perfect for the long drives my grandparents made to visit friends and family. Join me as I bring this forgotten roll back to life. One frame at a time. 📷 About the Project I’m scanning and archiving my family’s collection of 700+ rolls of film, covering decades of life, travel, and everyday moments. 🎞️ Like & subscribe to follow the journey as I uncover more rolls, scan century-old negatives, and explore the cameras that captured them. I’m using the @epsonamerica V850 film scanner, together with @LSI-SilverFast software and the @JJCPhotography 35mm film cutter to bring this roll back to life. 🎞️ Scanned in 48-bit RAW 🧾 Film type: Kodak Plus-X Panchromatic 📍 Location: Norway 📆 Year: 1954 📸 New episodes every week! #35mm #filmisnotdead #filmphotography #pobeda #roadtrip #photography #analog #kodak
