Toyota has unveiled its all-new C-HR model, building on the success of the original Toyota C-HR, which gained popularity among European customers for its distinctive design and performance. The new model is exclusively designed, engineered, and manufactured in Europe to cater to the European market. It boasts a radical exterior design, described as “a concept car on the road,” and combines functionality with modern comfort in its interior. The original Toyota C-HR made a significant impact in the European C-SUV segment with its sharp-edged, coupe-like design, transforming Toyota’s image in Europe. The new C-HR takes it a step further with even more striking designs, including a “super-coupe” profile, diamond-cut character lines, and flush door handles. The frontal treatment introduces the new face for Toyota SUVs, with a keen and piercing look. In terms of design, the new Toyota C-HR features short overhangs and large wheels of up to 20 inches. It also introduces a new bi-tone paint design extending the contrast black roof to the rear bumper. A “concealed tech” approach ensures seamless integration of cameras, radar, and other technologies. Design teams focused on creating an aerodynamically efficient exterior to optimize airflow and performance. Inside, the new C-HR offers a premium and refined feel. The interior is driver-centric with control elements concentrated in the driver’s area. A horizontal instrument panel and “wing” design theme give passengers a sense of the cabin wrapping around them. Toyota has aimed for a seamless, intuitive, and personalized user experience with a clear focus on connectivity and control, including a new digital key system. Sustainability is a major focus in the new Toyota C-HR. The use of recycled and animal-free materials has been increased significantly, and various steps have been taken to reduce carbon emissions. This includes the use of new resin materials for the bumpers, an automated painting process using water-based paints, and weight reduction measures like using high-strength steels. The new Toyota C-HR comes with a range of electrified powertrains, including 1.8 and 2 litre hybrid electric versions and a 2 litre plug-in hybrid. These powertrains have increased power, better driveability, and extended all-electric driving capabilities. The 2 litre plug-in hybrid features a geofencing function that switches the car to electric operation when entering a low-emission zone. The vehicle boasts a 12.3-inch fully digital combimeter, with sharp graphics and clear information zoning. The display can be customized according to driver preference and can prioritize different content based on the kind of journey. The vehicle also features an ambient lighting system with a choice of up to 64 colors, including safety-enhancing red alerts for collision risks. Toyota's Smart Connect multimedia package will be available in the new C-HR, which includes an eight or 12.3-inch touchscreen, on-board voice agent, and wireless smartphone connection via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The system will also provide electric vehicle range information, local charging locations, and remote control of vehicle functions through the MyToyota smartphone app. #ToyotaCHR2024 #ToyotaCHR #ToyotaCHRfirstlook #ToyotaCHR2024exterior #ToyotaCHR2024interior #ToyotaCHRwalkaround #ToyotaCHRdetails #ToyotaCHRnew ➡️ Discover all new cars before anyone else!
