YES the mythical holy grail of Tomy/ Plarail/TrackMaster Thomas truly does exist!! Gold Thomas was the grand prize given to the winners of a promotional "campaign of the lucky draw" contest held by Takara Tomy in 1995. Information regarding the number of lucky winners, or how many were produced is unavailable, but it is known that more than one does exists. This one was kept hidden for over 20 years among the many temples and shrines of a cherry blossomed scenic landscape, where legendary tame deer wander freely and mingle with the good people of the Nara Prefecture of Japan. It was found (by Tharazero1) in 2016, and now resides in the United States, and is home to The Vicarage Orchard.:)
