China space exploration: Tiangong-2 to reach docking altitude

China launched the Tiangong-2 space lab into orbit on Thursday. The space lab had two orbit maneuvers today to reach more than 380 kilometers above the Earth. Tiangong-2 will later move another 13 kilometers away from the Earth and reach the optimum altitude for docking the Shenzhou-11 manned spacecraft, which is scheduled to launch in October.
