DISCLAIMER: Neither the music nor the vocals in this song were generated by Suno AI. All of the music and lyrics were personally written by me. This song is part of an upcoming "Murder Drones"-inspired EP made ALMOST entirely of AI generated songs. I produced the accompaniment with Noteflight, the piano with my hands, the lyrics with my brain, and the vocals with @-jess_160. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I gotta say, it's always more fun to write music myself than to use AI to generate it. Don't get me wrong: hearing what AI can come up with is pretty cool, and I'm glad the tool is available to make certain songs. However, I've always enjoyed writing my own music and I hope I'll be able to do more of that in the future. That being said, this is my first attempt at publishing a song written and composed entirely by me, with vocals by an actual person. Speaking of which, can we have a huge round of applause for @-jess_160? This is her first singing project, but in my honest opinion, I think she killed it. Please go check out her content and support her; she definitely deserves it! (She also drew part of the thumbnail; see that ghost grinning at ya?) To address Tessa's story and character, I love pretty much everything about her. She's awkward-yet-spunky and bold in the face of danger, and her compassion for the discarded drones just makes her all the more likeable. (Just don't ask her where she got the hair and clothes 🫣). The tragedy of her death and the subjection of her corpse from fertilizer to fashion adds to the horror aspect of "Murder Drones" as a whole, and with the screams of the dead being heard upon the destruction of Cyn's heart, one can't help but wonder if some part of her is still alive inside Uzi now that the core has been consumed. It was from this perspective that I wrote the song: the idea that the remnants of Tessa's soul/consciousness have been active this whole time, witnessing everything that her kindness toward Cyn and the other drones has wrought, and wondering if the destruction of all things was her fault... Gotta give credit to @AJDiSpirito for this track; I borrowed motifs from "Space Girl", "Criss-Cross Applesauce", and "The HuMaN Gala" for certain parts of the song (the entire tune is based off the latter two, of course). Aand a big shoutout to @stephcrothers for doing a wonderful job bringing Tessa to life! Can't spell "ausome" without "AUS", mate! (Did I do that right?) Whatever. Anyway, "Murder Drones" and all its concepts and characters belong to @LiamVickersAnimation, @GLITCH, and all affiliated persons/entities. #murderdrones #murderdronestessa #tessamurderdrones #tessa #tessaelliott #tessajameselliott #uzi #n #v #j #absolutesolver #cyn #murderdronescyn #murderdronesn #murderdronesv #murderdronesuzi #glitch #glitchproductions #glitchmurderdrones #trending #trendingnow #fyp #foryoupage LYRICS: Oh, this Cyn-thetic sprite With eyes alight, She’s a ditzy dancing doll The lights are bright, The gala’s tonight, And she’s the belle of the ball I smile, I grin I twirl, I spin, To the tune of my curtain call Unknown, therein The curse of Cyn Upon the world will fall And oh, my loves, my workers three My family forged of chrome Am I to blame for what will be? Did I condemn my home? Destined to be a drossy drone-herder Destined to suffer a citizen’s murder Innocent eyes glow under my skin That’s what I get for letting her in Shouldn’t have gone Should have stayed Stayed inside Stayed out of the rain Content with my ball and chain The friends she finds She’ll hypnotize And turn to twisted things She flips, she flies, She fakes, she lies And pulls on twisted strings She’s kind and quaint, A shining saint, She comes to lend you aid The picture she paints With my face is a feint A morbid masquerade And oh, my N, my V, my J, My buried past in bone, Am I to blame for what you became? Should I have stayed alone? Destined to be a drossy drone-herder Destined to suffer—“A Citizen, Murdered!” Innocent eyes glow under my skin That’s what I get for letting her in Shouldn’t have gone Should have stayed Stayed inside Stayed out of the rain Content with my ball and chain I burn, I melt This pain, unfelt Her heart becomes ash and dust A ghost inside One thought in my mind: Should I have left her to rust? Should I have left them to rust?
