Chris Schneider from criSam Acrylic Pouring demonstrates a simple flip cup using pinks, blues and purples. Chris has been experimenting with lifting the flip cup and then putting it down half way through the paint release. This results in a beautiful ring effect. The finished painting looks like an alien landscape or flower. It reminded Chris of some of Roger Dean's work, in a very tenuous way, so she has called it "Purple Dean". Techniques covered: Single flip cup. criSam run Acrylic Pouring sessions and are based in Buxted, East Sussex, UK.
