Jabalpur ship mishap ruins family of 3, father survives, mother-son found dead in single life jacket

The death toll in the cruise boat capsizing incident at Bargi Dam in Jabalpur has climbed to nine, a day after the mishap. State Minister Rakesh Singh said that rescue teams have recovered two more bodies during rescue operation. The bodies identified were of a woman and her child tied together in one life jacket. A survivor of the boat capsizing incident has alleged a lack of basic safety measures, claiming that passengers were not provided with life jackets. This survivor was also looking for his wife and his child since the accident happened. Later, it was confirmed that the two bodies belonged to the man who was looking for his wife and son.
