3D Printed Car Parts: Custom Tank Mod for Your Solstice, Sky, or Opel GT

The GM consolidation of 2008, 2009, 2010 lead to some interesting years for Pontiac. While Pontiac was essentially a niche market car many of the the designs shared parts with GMs larger line of vehicle. Rushed into production, the Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky, and Opel GT were plagued by design flaws and poor build quality. With the elimination of these brands in 2010 automaker bailout, parts began to drive up quickly. In this segment we will 3D Print and Install a Barb adaptor onto the GXP Solstice Purge Tank so that any form of coolant overflow does not countinue to eat away paint in the engine bay. The reason we are doing this is because the original purge tank was not designed correctly with an adequate way to disperse any hot coolant in the event of a boil over. Over the years as these Kappa platform based cars begin to age we run into the issue of no parts and because there was only one generation there was never an update to the Year 1 design so engineers could never fix what was wrong.
