(KTHV) - One day after being arrested for the murder of Pine Bluff pawn shop owner Brandon McHan, two 21-year-old suspects from Camden made their first appearance in the Jefferson County District Court. Both Daryl Strickland and Rodney Henry are being held with no bond. During the hearing, we learned Strickland admitted involvement in the murder. He told detectives their intention was to rob the shop. Henry denied involvement to detectives. McHan was shot and killed November 12 at Wise Buck Pawn Shop which he owned during what police believe to be an attempted robbery. After the hearing, Miranda McHan, Brandon McHan’s wife, spoke with THV11. “It was very hard to see them in that room, but it was more mad than sad, but in a way to see the small two human beings that took my husband's life is just ridiculous, a life for nothing," Miranda said. "People need to really go back and kiss your loved ones every night because they might not be there the next day.” Both men will sit in the Jefferson County Jail as the Public Defender’s Office appoints two death-penalty qualified attorneys to represent them. “Today we got what we wanted,” Miranda said. “There’s no bail set so far so that is what we wanted and I praise God everyday so thank you. Brandon, we are praying for you everyday and we love you.” https://www.wdrb.com/news/crime-repor... Oct 12, 2018 LOUISVILLE, Ky.
