What does the US/CA version of the Collection Season 7 look like? Today I'm unboxing Doctor Who Jon Pertwee Complete Season One (aka The Collection Season 7). You can order your own copy from Amazon here: https://amzn.to/4dPiyxo (affiliate link). Jon Pertwee Complete Season One came out on June 3, 2025, 92 days after the UK Season 7 Limited Edition set came out on March 3, 2025. My copy arrived safely and has stunning artwork designed colorfully by Lee Binding. Unfortunately, these US/CA Blu-ray sets do lend themselves to some wrinkling of the plastic, which is a little unfortunate. It's a seven disc set. This is actually slightly under one inch, so it'll match up with the majority of the other US/CA sets. I like the disc holders. But, unfortunately, the discs themselves continue the trend of not using the individual disc art that comes with the UK limited edition box sets. It's frustrating because the disc art is so beautiful and really helps differentiate the discs. On the back, we have a list of all four stories from season seven. All 25 episodes are newly restored for Blu-ray and packed with new bonus features: new documentaries (four of them), In Conversation with John Levene (I love Sergeant Benton!) This season has a great lineup for behind the sofa with Katy Manning (Jo Grant), Matthew Waterhouse (Adric), Janet Fielding (Tegan), Sarah Sutton (Nyssa), Sophie Aldred (Ace), presenter Toby Hadoke, and the late Caroline John’s family: husband Geoffrey Beevers (who also played the Master) and daughter Daisy Ashford. The set also comes with the doctor who escape room with team third doctor. Movie editions of the episodes and archive treats, blu-ray trailer, PDF written archive scripts, and more. Plus, each disc also includes a range of extensive special features previously released on DVD. This set does not come with a booklet. Only Tom Baker Complete Season One and Seven came with a single page slip that gave us a breakdown of the disc contents, but that has not happened since. I'm so excited that fans in the US can, after three months of waiting (92 days), which wasn't too bad considering the historical record of how long we've had to wait (113-120 days). One more Pertwee season left to go now. Jon Pertwee Complete Season Five AKA Season 11.
