Civilians flee as Russians encircle Ukrainian city of Bakhmut

Residents are attempting to flee on foot as the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut is likely to fall to Russian forces in the coming days or even hours – while Ukrainian forces are yet to back down. Mercenary fighters from Russia’s Wagner Group are encircling the city after seven months of relentless fighting and numerous casualties on both sides.
