Are Those Who Never Heard of Christ Going to Hell? | Padre Pio Many Christians wrestle with this difficult question: What happens to those who have never heard the Gospel? Is it possible for a just and merciful God to condemn them to hell? God’s Justice and Mercy The Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 2:4 that God "wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth." Sharing the Gospel is an act of love, ensuring that as many people as possible hear the Good News and have the opportunity to follow Christ. Saint Padre Pio’s life was a testimony to God's mercy and justice. He urged people to pray, trust in God's will, and seek holiness. While we cannot fully comprehend God's judgment, we know He is both just and merciful.
