2016 NISSAN 370Z - Soft Top Operation (Roadster Models Only)

Your 370Z Roadster has a soft top that can be opened and closed by pushing the SOFT TOP OPERATING switch. To open or close the soft top, the vehicle must be stopped or moving at no more than 3 mph, with the engine ON and the trunk closed. The shift lever must be in any position other than REVERSE for the soft top to operate. Make sure the area is clear of obstructions and that there is at least 6 feet of clearance above the vehicle. To open the soft top, push OPEN on the SOFT TOP OPERATING switch and hold until the top is fully opened. The soft top indicator light will illuminate while the top is in motion, but once the top is completely open, the light will turn OFF. To close the soft top, push CLOSE on the SOFT TOP OPERATING switch. Hold the switch until the top is fully closed. The soft top indicator light will illuminate while the top is in motion and turn off when it is closed. When the SOFT TOP OPERATING switch is pushed, the power windows will automatically lower completely. Once the top operation is completed use the power window switches to close the windows. The soft top can also be opened using the request switch on the door. The Voice Recognition System will not operate while the soft top is open.
