SGA scored 34 points in a blowout win over Timberwolves as the Thunder advanced to the NBA Finals

The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 124-94 in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals, winning the series 4-1 and earning a spot in the NBA Finals. They are favored to win their first NBA championship since moving to Oklahoma City in 2008. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 34 points, eight assists, seven rebounds, and two steals, shooting 14 of 25 from the field. He was named Western Conference Finals MVP by unanimous vote. The Thunder forced 21 turnovers and won the rebounding battle 46-39.
