For me this was the first Final Fantasy game that I ever picked up. If I had never played this game I would never have tried FFVII or any of the other good games of the series. The story of Final Fantasy VIII revolves around a student at Balmb Garden by the name of Squall. He is a moody loaner to say the least. He is quiet and keeps his emotions bottled up. Most around him do not know what to make of him because of how he acts. After passing his SEED test he embarks on a mission which starts his journey. This journey, like many other journeys, changes his attitude and outlook of those around him as he travels the path set before him. How will his journey turn out? Watch and find out!
