Classic TV Theme: JJ Starbuck (Stereo • Mike Post)

Dale Robertson was 'JJ Starbuck' a millionaire Texan who traveled the country helping people in trouble. During a production break he suffered an injury so to reduce his load Stephen J Cannell gave him a sidekick, Ben Vereen. What made this unusual was that Vereen was reprising the character 'Tenspeed' Turner from an earlier Cannell series 'Tenspeed and Brownshoe'*. That added some extra spice to the show but it still faded away after one shortened season.
