Pastor Joshua Pellowe speaks on "Is Praise the Power For My Battle? from our series on Worship." #churchonline #Worship NOTES: 2 Chronicles 2:1-30 | Romans 8:37 Seek the Lord, Remove Distractions, Bolster you Faith (Vs 3-4) Be more in awe of God than the destructive force before you (Vs 6) It is not an act of foolishness to take your focus off the problem and fix your eyes on the promise. “I like to plunge my hand into the promises, and then I find myself able to grasp with a grip of determination the mighty faithfulness of God. An omnipotent plea with God is: ‘Do as thou hast said.’ ” Charles Spurgeon There is a time to wait before the Lord and there is a time to step out in battle. (Vs 13 & Vs 16) The Lord may bring you into battle but He is the One who brings the fight. Our job is often to position ourselves and stand still. (Vs 17) The worshipped the Lord before they saw the victory. (Vs 18) Their praise was based upon what they knew about God, not what they knew about the situation.
