Mega Man X2 [4/8] Serges and Crystal Snail, Flame Stag

Only one X-Hunter to go before we get back on track with selecting bosses based on weaknesses. Serges isn't very dangerous, he's just extremely annoying to deal with. Crystal Snail's stage is pretty straightforward, and I always liked the Magna Quartz sub-boss more than Crystal Snail himself. We'll get the ridonkulously placed Heart Tank and near-useless Helmet Upgrade, too. Flame Stag's stage has a good amount of move-fast-or-die-trying gameplay, but nothing too difficult. The goodies are pretty easy to get, and the boss fight is extremely broken if Bubble Splash is used. We also backtrack at various points to pick up Bubble Crab's Sub Tank as well as demonstrate how to acquire Wheel Gator's powerups through safer methods. --- Mega Man X2 was released in late 1994 and early 1995. It was developed and published by Capcom. I intend no copyright infringement through these videos; their purpose is recreational use. This playthrough is shenanigan-free. No slowdown or savestate abuse occurred, although savestates were used only the beginning of each level for quick-loading and speedup was used to quickly scroll through script text. Levels were usually played multiple times to get an idea of what is important to focus on. Though there are some perfect runs, the goal is to show how to take advantage of a boss's patterns, as opposed to bragging rights. If you have questions, comments, or constructive criticism, I would be happy to hear what you have to say. On the flip side, unintelligent comments make me angry and will be PRENG SMASH'd. Please, think before you submit a post!
