Shiva Tandava Stotram by Ravana - Lyrics and Meaning Shiva Tandava Stotram (शिवताण्डवस्तोत्रम्, śiva-tāṇḍava-stotra) is a popular sacred hymn composed by Ravana that glorifies Lord Shiva. The word "Tandava" derives from the word "Tandul" which means to jump. Tandava is a type of dance performed with great energy. Ravana is considered the best devotee of Lord Shiva.
