It was officially revealed on December 10, 2011 during the Spike TV Video Game Awards and released worldwide on June 14, 2013. It was released in Japan on June 20, 2013. At the PlayStation 4 Launch Event on November 14, 2013 a new DLC, Left Behind, was announced. The content, which serves as a prequel to the main storyline and sequel to the American Dreams comics, features Ellie and her friend Riley. Left Behind was released on February 14, 2014. The Last of Us Remastered, was released on July 29 2014 in North America, July 30 2014 in Australia and Europe, and August 1 2014 in the United Kingdom.
