In today’s video, I used my iPhone’s LiDAR sensor to scan the 3D printed Superman action figure to create a perfectly fitting Superman chest logo ! I placed the model on a turntable for better scanning and then designed the logo in SketchUp. After 3D printing the logo, I sanded and applied the first coat of paint. Later in the video, I worked on enhancing Superman’s face by color-washing the skin to give it a more realistic and natural texture. This is part of my ongoing series where I build, customise, and paint my own superhero action figures from scratch! Tools used: iPhone LiDAR, SketchUp, FDM 3D printer, acrylic paints Materials: PLA filament, sanding tools, paintbrushes Stay tuned for the next part where I add final detailing to complete the Superman figure ! #3DPrinting #iPhoneLiDAR #SupermanFigure #DIYActionFigure #SketchUpModeling #CardboardStudio #3DScanToPrint #SuperheroBuild #FigurePainting #MakersStudio
