The Bukchon Hanok Village Tourists Never See

Almost every tourist visiting Seoul will stop by Bukchon Hanok Village. It’s a beautiful, historic, and picturesque neighborhood filled with hanok, Korea’s traditional houses. From scenic views to cafés, restaurants, galleries, and museums, Bukchon has a lot to offer. It’s never boring. But if you only come for a quick Instagram photo at one of Bukchon’s famous viewpoints, you’re missing out. Wedged between two royal palaces and shaped by hundreds of years of history, Bukchon is filled with hidden stories.
