Fresh off of making NHL Playoff history against his former team the Colorado Avalanche, where Mikko Rantanen became the first player in NHL history to score 4 points in a single period in back to back games as well as the first player to score a hat trick in the 3rd period of a game 7, it meant he came into round 2 against the Winnipeg Jets with 9 points on the last 9 goals the Stars scored. Yet, he did it again! He scored a natural hat trick in the 2nd period becoming just the 3rd player in NHL history to post back to back hat tricks while also becoming the first player in NHL history to have multiple 3 goal periods in the same postseason all the while passing Mario Lemieux's record to have an assist or goal on what is now 12 consecutive Dallas Stars goals. Truly, we are witnessing one of the greatest runs in a playoffs ever right now. I cover it all and more in todays NHL hockey video!
