To find out if your car can use approved Osram LED bulbs, click here: https://media.osram.info/media/img/os... Seeing clearly is crucial in so many situations. In sports, it can make the difference between winning or losing a game. In a car, it can make the difference between causing or avoiding an accident. One thing is certain: to make the right choice, you need to see. And to do it well, you need the right tools. Trained eyes and quick reflexes on the field. Powerful headlights, capable of piercing the night when we're traveling. Unfortunately, this isn't always possible. Because so many cars still have the good old halogen headlights. Yellow light, sometimes dim, with an intensity that's incomparable to that of modern full LEDs. Today, however, we may have reached the turning point. Because, finally, approved LED retrofit lamps have been created. And therefore, they can be used 100% legally in Italy. They were developed entirely by Osram, and can be installed on a wide range of popular models. But is it really worth installing them? And how much difference is there between a halogen headlight and one equipped with LED retrofits? To find out, we chose to stage one of our instrumental tests. We were in the lab, but also in the real world. Specifically, on a rugby pitch, a playing field that provided us with an exceptional test bed. Because we had the opportunity to work under equal conditions, undisturbed, in total darkness. And, above all, with reliable references: those that, of course, a playing field provides.
