Texas Snowpocalypse 2021 - Day 4 in Austin

This video documents my treacherous journey from the front door of my apartment to the community swimming pool to get water to flush my toilet. On February 14, 2021, the state of Texas experienced an extreme winter storm, with sub freezing temperatures for days and several inches of snow and ice. The power grid and water utilities were not prepared, and much of Austin ground to a halt for almost a week. Because I live near a fire station, I never lost electricity, but I was without water service for 8 days...and I'm one of the lucky folks!
