Besigye arrested and detained as he heads for FDC prayers

Dr. Kizza Besigye today ventured into town, his second time since he was detained at his home after the 18th February elections. Police withdrew from the former FDC presidential candidate’s home last week. Police however blocked Besigye at Mulago roundabout and he was arrested, cutting short his journey to the party headquarters in Kampala’s Najjanankumbi suburb.
