African Spirituality: An Introduction! with Dalian Adofo | Speakers Corner

In my last chat the issue of Afrikan Spirituality was raised. It was suggested that not only was there a relative lack of respect for Traditional African Religion when compared to the respect shown to Abrahamic religions; it became clear that a basic knowledge and understanding of these spiritual traditions is often very low. It was stated that there needs to a clear break down of what Afrikan Spirituality is. In this session we aim to address that issue as we give an in depth break down of Afrikan Spirituality as a concept. We will then delve into a few different system, explaining their basic mythology, principles, Cosmology & Rituals.
