insaneintherainmusic Collective - Bramble Blast (LIVE @ VGM CON 2023)

Maaan, we really pulled out all the stops for this one. This tune is so special to me, as it was the last cover we did for insaneintherain's channel that was a part of his regularly scheduled covers. I remember getting the sheet music for the first time and looking at my fretless bass solo in the beginning going, oh yeah, challenging but doable...wait, is that a high A or C? LOL. After the video came out I kept thinking to myself, man, imagine how sick it would be to play this live?? I am so, so glad it became a reality, and not only with all the original band members but also with more horns/keyboard just made it even more special. This theme has so many incredible moments and dynamics that really make this tune a journey from top to finish. This one was a highlight for me without a doubt. From: Super Smash Bros.
