We are halfway through our preparation for Christmas. How has your Advent been so far? We hope we are devoting adequate time and space for spiritual preparation. Today’s Gospel teaches us a good way to spiritually prepare for Christmas. “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” was the exhortation of John the Baptist. John preached the coming of the Messiah and prepared the way for Jesus during their time. This is the same exhortation directed to us today.
