Here, Jesus prepares them for his physical absence during which the Advocate—the Holy Spirit—will be with them. He will teach them and remind them of all that Jesus taught them. Then Jesus leaves them his peace. During the Lenten Season and the Holy Week, we saw this peace of Jesus. It is a peace that makes one feel secure in tribulations.
