There are lots of songs about cities. Think of "Memphis, Tennessee" by Chuck Berry or "Chicago" sung by Frank Sinatra. So it's only fitting that Dubai, which has the world's tallest building, and a manmade island in the shape of a palm tree, should have its very own rock anthem. This was inspired by a walk through the mall near my hotel, on a day so hot it would have been dangerous to go outside, when the words just came flooding into my consciousness. Thanks to the great singing and playing of "Red", Dubai's most accomplished guitarist/singer/musician and the talents of his friends Emmanuel and Ricardo, this video brings to life what was, for many, the dream of "Going to Dubai:.
