Thermostat & Coolant Sensor Replacement 2014-2018 GMC Sierra 1500 4.3 V6

I changed out the temperature sensor along with my thermostat because I didn't change out the thermostat when I changed out my water pump. You're suppose to change out both at the same time. I never got a code on the dash when my thermostat went out, that code is PO128.
