CRUSTY Air Jordan 1 Sneaker RESTORED by Vick Almighty!
In this restoration, Vick Almighty will work on a pair of SUPER COOKED Air Jordan 1 Laneys. Vick begins the restoration of these Laney Jordan 1's by removing the laces and entering a Reshoevn8r Shoe tree to help reshape the shoe. Now it's time to start cleaning with the Reshoevn8r Ultimate Sneaker Laundry System. Vick kicks off cleaning these Jordan 1's by using the Soft Bristle Brush and Reshoevn8r Advanced Sneaker Cleaning Solution to clean the entire shoe removing the grime and dirt from the surface of the shoe. After scrubbing, Vick lets the suds soak on the Laney before moving on to the Medium Bristle Brush the Stiff Bristle Brush. The AJ1 is now ready for the wash, Vick puts the shoe in a Sneaker Laundry Bag and pours Reshoevn8r Sneaker Laundry Detergent on top of the shoe. He then puts the machine on a regular cycle with cold water. Now that the AJ Laney is clean, Vicks next step is to try and reverse the yellowing from the outsoles with salon care 40 by letting it sit in the sun. After the outsole is in good shape, Vick shifts his focus to prepping the AJ1 Laney for a re-glue and re-paint. This step involves sanding out the creases on the leather to smooth out certain areas of the shoe. He then takes the Reshoevn8r Brass Bristle Brush to reset the nap of the suede. Once he finishes that he takes acetone on a cotton ball to remove the paint on the leather. Then he addresses the faded suede by re-dying it using Angeles blue suede dye and an angled brush. He tapes up the shoe to prepare for re-painting. Once done with the prep work and re-paint, Vick puts the finishing touches on the shoe and sets it with a matte finish spray. Now, this Air Jordan 1 Laney is ready to be on feet as if it was back to its January 2019 release date!
