Crockpot Hoisin Chicken

CROCKPOT HOISON CHICKEN This recipe is perfect for your next meal prep, so give it a try & don’t forget to like and share! Serves 8 Ingredients: ▪️2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts ▪️1/3 cup hoisin sauce ▪️1/3 cup soy sauce ▪️1/3 cup chicken broth ▪️2 Tbsp honey ▪️1/2 tsp ground ginger ▪️1/2 tsp garlic chili sauce ▪️1 Tbsp cornstarch ▪️2 Tbsp water Directions: 1️⃣ In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, chicken broth, honey, ground ginger, and garlic chili sauce. 2️⃣ Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot & pour the sauce over the chicken. 3️⃣ Cook on HIGH for 1 1/2 hours, or until chicken is done. (You could also cook it on on LOW for 4 hours, or until done.) 4️⃣ Once the chicken is done, place it on a cutting board & shred it with your hands or 2 forks. 5️⃣ Pour the sauce into a small saucepan. In a small bowl, whisk together the water & cornstarch. Add cornstarch mixture to the sauce. 6️⃣ Bring the sauce to a boil over medium heat, whisking frequently. Cook for 4-5 minutes, until the sauce is slightly thickened. 7️⃣ Put the shredded chicken & sauce back into the crockpot or a large bowl. Toss to coat all of the chicken with the sauce. Serve with rice or cauliflower rice & your favorite veggie. Enjoy!
