Imperfecto vs Indefinido – Learn Spanish easily

When do you need the Preterite Imperfecto in Spanish? When do you need the Indefinite? When learning Spanish, it can sometimes be a bit difficult to distinguish between these verb tenses and talk about the past correctly. In this Spanish lesson, I'll explain the difference between Preterite Imperfecto and Indefinite. We'll conjugate both the regular verb ESTAR and the irregular verb SER in the Imperfecto, learn the signal words for the Indefinite and Imperfect, and construct Spanish sentences (comparing both verb tenses). Spanish grammar explained simply in German so you can speak Spanish. First, we conjugate the verb ESTAR in the imperfect tense. In this tense, ESTAR is regular, and all verbs ending in -AR are conjugated in the imperfect tense in the same way: yo estaba (I was) tú estabas (you were) él / ella estaba (he / she was) usted estaba (They were) nosotros / -as estábamos (we were) vosotros / -as estaban (you were) ellos / ellas estaban (they were) ustedes estaban (They were, plural) Here is the verb SER in the imperfect tense. It is irregular and we conjugate it like this: yo era (I was) tú eras (you were) él / ella era (he / she was) usted era (They were, singular) nosotros / -as éramos (we were) vosotros / -as erais (you were) ellos / ellas eran (they were) ustedes eran (They were, plural) You can subscribe here:    / @spanischmittomás   Your support is greatly appreciated!
