Always a Surprise when Surf Fishing San Luis Pass

I took a trip to surf fish San Luis Pass. San Luis Pass is the Most Dangerous Surf fishing spot in texas due to its extreme tidal flow during tidal movements. So i droned out multiple live mullet into the surf to try to target Crevalle Jack. At my surprise my friend's surf rod started going off while he was asleep.I decided to set the hook and try to wake him up, no luck, so i had to fight this massive crevalle jack from the surf.
