MPs have voted in favour of the latest national lockdown. It came after Matt Hancock had said teachers had a "very strong case" for being vaccinated after those in those who are most vulnerable. Several MPs have called for schools staff and childcare workers to be prioritised, in a bid to reopen classrooms as soon as possible. The Health Secretary told the Commons: "Once we have vaccinated those who are clinically vulnerable, of course we are considering who then should be the next priority for vaccination, and teachers have got a very strong case, as have those who work in nurseries."
