To get the dustbin from the Roborock, you have to open the lid and pull it out. 400 vs. 500 ml dustbin, the Roborock S5 has a bigger container. Both have a washable HEPA filter. A cleaning tool from the Roborock is housed under the lid, and you always know where it is. A water tank is about the same size. Slide the Roborock container underneath until it clicks. The 360 S6 water tank can be manually placed under the robot, and it gets inserted by a simple click. Both are easy to install. The cleaning brush is a bit different. The one inside the S6 is black and has removable parts which makes it much easier to clean especially from hair. The Roborock S5 roller is red and black, solid and slightly bigger. The Roborock S5 is 9.6 cm (3.78 in) tall; the 360 S6 has a 10 cm (3.94 in) body. Charging dock of the 360 S6 is different. The charging cord can be adjusted underneath the base, so the whole construction looks sleeker. Also, in the box with 360, you will find three different plug types. In the video, you might notice that the Roborock starts cleaning faster. It happens because the S5 builds a map while vacuuming when the 360 S6 restores a created plan and spends a few seconds to turn around and understand its location which you can see in the 360Smart app. The Roborock S5 has a 20 mm climbing ability; the 360 S6 - 17 mm. We put a plank to see how good they will cross it and both of them did the job flawlessly. In the first test, we used oats and small pieces of paper. Both models caught every particle on the laminate. The RoborockS5 spent 9 minutes to clean a 10 square meter area. The 360 S6 spent about the same time to clean it. Both apps: 360Smart and Mi Home support zoned cleaning and blocked areas. You can draw a rectangle to prevent the robot from crossing some places or to make the vacuum work within a certain zone. You can check the cleaning history to see how much time the robot spent, where has it been, etc. The 360 S6 supports multiple-mapping, it saves up to 10 maps in memory making the robot suitable for houses with more than one level. You can choose your favorite maps, the ones you've picked goes up and would not get deleted. --- We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
