After being fully playable in the previous game, GIR suffers the same fate that Patrick did and gets reduced to an NPC here, and as a boss battle against a goo-corrupted version of himself, to boot. This game would end up being GIR's final video game appearance until Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix, where funnily enough, he also appears as a boss encounter (albeit fully playable like how he was in Toybots).
