The first appointment was cancelled because she was ill. I was quite disappointed; I really needed it. I also mentioned this to the GP. I told her I needed it, and the next appointment is in January, and that I won't beg for a replacement anymore. I said I'm tired of begging for help, which I've done for years. I've accepted it when it's not there. I can't get angry anymore; it is what it is. The GP understood and immediately requested a file from the GP to gather all the evidence. The GP also now agrees that what happened within the system wasn't okay, and she's starting to understand how the mental healthcare system really works. I'm grateful that stigma is disappearing and that I'm building a better relationship with the GP.
